This is the UK chipboard carcass list, not MDF paint grade. Two sheets are prefilled because a pair of 600 mm bases rarely share one board once backs are included.

Chipboard carcass sheets are usually 2440 × 1220. There is no face grain, so parts can turn to fit.

Edging
Visible edges are usually iron-on banding, not extra sheet parts. Do not expect the nest to leave banding allowances unless you add them.
Worked example
Two 600 mm bases: sides, bottoms, a fixed shelf each, and backs. Generate to see sheet count with 3 mm kerf.
Questions
Is particle board the same as MDF?
No. MDF is denser and machines cleaner. This page assumes chipboard carcass stock and starts with two sheets.
